Great Mountain Views Resort

Great Mountain Views (GMV) is a family-run resort located in the heart of Bali.

Launched in 2008, our resort offers spectacular views of Mt Agung and Mt Batur, two of Bali's most important mountains housing among others Bali's main temple complex Besakih. GMV is a unique resort and the perfect base for exploring Bali's beautiful nature and culture. The tranquility and charm of GMVs location, immersed in the Balinese countryside, is the perfect accompaniment to the spectacular views of specifically Gunung Agung.

GMV is surrounded by traditional rice fields, yet our ten villas, all with private verandas or balconies facing the mountain, offer the comfort and facilities the modern
holidaymakers expects. Whether it is peace and quiet that you're after, or an adventure-packed holiday, GMV is your best base for exploring Bali in all its natural beauty.

JASMINE VILLA
(sleeps 2 adults (DOUBLE) or up to 3 adults (TRIPLE))

Jasmine Villa is our free-standing, single-storey villa. Its perfect for couples or two friends, and can also be used by small families with young children. This 2- to 3-person villa is equipped with a double bed with integrated mosquito net; bamboo sofa and small table; half-open bathroom with sink, mirror, toilet and clothes airer; enclosed outside shower, surrounded by romantic bathroom garden; cupboard with lock and safe-deposit box; standing fan; veranda with bamboo chairs or sofa as well as a small dining table and two chairs. The Twin/Triple Comfort Room features an additional single bed.

LOTUS VILLA
(sleeps 2 adults per unit OR 2 adults and up to three children for the Family Villa)

Lotus Villa is our double, single-storey villa, which can be booked as two separate units or as one unit connected by a door. Lotus Single Unit is often used by couples (Standard Double) or friends who prefer a twin-bed set up (Standard Twin), while Lotus Family Unit is perfect for families with two to three children. The advantage of Lotus for people travelling with children is that this villa effectively consists of two rooms connected by a door, which can be shut or kept open. If you are after a combination of space, privacy and being at a close distance of your children, Lotus Family Villa is the one for you. Lotus Villa is equipped per unit with a double bed or two single beds with integrated mosquito nets; bamboo sofa and small table; half-open bathroom with sink, mirror, toilet and clothes airer; enclosed outside shower, surrounded by romantic bathroom garden; cupboard with lock and safe-deposit box; standing fan; veranda with bamboo chairs or sofa, as well as a small dining table and two chairs.

FRANGIPANI VILLA
(sleeps 2 adults per unit; or a maximum of 3 adults in the downstairs unit)
**Deluxe Twin Room OR Deluxe Double Room available**
Frangipani Villa is the newest addition to the resort. This two-storey villa can be booked in its entirety, or as two separate units. We currently have two Frangipani Villas. Each upstairs unit features one large double bed with integrated mosquito net; bamboo sofa and small table; half-open bathroom with sink, mirror, toilet and shower; cupboard with lock and safe-deposit box; balcony with bamboo chairs or sofa as well as a small table and chairs. The downstairs unit offers an additional single bed. The top unit especially boasts magnificent views of the Mount Agung because of its large windows, while the downstairs unit still offers beautiful, direct views of the mountain and has the added benefit of having AC in the room (the upstairs unit has a standing fan only). A double unit of Frangipani (top and bottom, as on the picture) is an excellent choice for a group of friends or a family with two or three older children. The stunning views also make the upstairs unit the villa of choice for bridal couples. Please note that a double unit of Frangipani is NOT suitable for families travelling with small children, as both units are self-contained and only accessible by outside stairs. People travelling with younger children are best served by our Family Villas.
