OWNER RULES

THE BORING (BUT IMPORTANT) STUFF:
The below covers finer details of the property and the terms and conditions of staying. Not exactly exciting reading, but nonetheless important. Dont hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all!

House Rules:

- Government ID must be shown upon check-in or supplied prior to receiving key code.

No parties, smoking indoors (all buts must be collected and put in the trash before checkout), or extra visitors. I have neighbours that will call me then the police of there is after hours noise on the property.

Extra guests/visitors
All guests and visitors must be registered on the booking. First and last name supplied. No other people other than the registered guests may visit or stay over UNLESS by prior arrangement.

Ladies - no high heels inside so the floorboards don't get damaged.

Condition of property - While the house is kept clean and tidy, please note the home is not in new condition. It is an old and historic 1890's home and very rustic. It is also very quirky looking, some may say downright ugly on the outside.

The linens won't be ironed. But be assured, they are freshly professionally laundered and clean and hygienic. If you are after hotel new and perfect, this home may not be suitable.

Pets allowed by prior arrangement only and with a pet deposit by credit card paid. Strict conditions apply about cleaning up after the pet (all fur must be vacuumed, All excrement must be cleaned and bagged and disposed and any damage will be charged to a verified credit card) . A pet fee will apply of $15 per animal per night.

Neat & tidy policy - Please clean up after yourself if using the homes facilities otherwise the bond will be forfeited. Please wash up and put away dishes at the end of your stay and remove the rubbish.

One clean is included in your visit prior to your arrival to set up the home. If you wish the professional cleaners to come again during your stay, please advise and I will organise for you.

On departure you must take out the rubbish, tidy up the space and wash and put away all dishes.

Check-in - Generally 3pm check in and 10.30am check out. These can potentially be flexible if there is no guest checking in or out that day. If on offer I may not know until the day if you can have a late check out due to instant book being on.

Stairs - There are steep stairs in this house, therefore it may not be suitable for persons with reduced mobility or children.

Parking - There is no parking at this property. There is street parking but it is timed during the weekdays. Street parking on the weekend, however, is untimed and free all weekend. There is free, untimed, all day parking about 10-15 minute walk from the home if required.

Rubbish Collection - Rubbish collection service is on Sunday evening. I kindly ask guests to wheel the bins though the home to the front street on Sunday evening and bring them back in on Monday morning (even if its just into the front porch). The red bin is for household food scraps and dirty rubbish; the yellow bin is for clean recyclables. Please note that no rubbish is to be put into the red bin unless it is BAGGED SECURELY first (I've had unfortunate instances where Ive had to clean the bin out by hand as someone put all their rotting pasta and sauce straight into the bin. Yuk!). Part of the bond may be forfeited if we need to clean out un-bagged rubbish or if there is excess rubbish not put out on the Sunday night.
