Description
Aruhe is a sustainably built, self-contained cottage with modern amenities. It is far enough away from State Highway 35 to be untroubled by traffic noise and the loudest noise is made by the birds in the trees surrounding the cottage. The night sky is unpolluted by city light and presents a wonderful opportunity for star-gazing. It is the perfect spot to relax, rekindle the romance in your relationship, read the books you've been meaning to or complete your thesis. Aruhe is secluded, quiet and peaceful.
For the adventurous there are two walks - the walk to the top of the hill is for the more strenuous and a walk to the waterfall is more gentle and rewards you with a great opportunity to cool down when you arrive. The beach is a short walk away, as is Pacific Macadamia Nuts Cafe. If you choose to go further afield, there is breath-taking scenery and various sights not afforded those who travel on the major roads.

Rates from 165 AUD to 192 AUD per night
- Check-in after: On arrangement
- Check-out before: 11:00:00 AM
- Cleaning Fee: 46 AUD
- Up to 31 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental
- Up to 10 days before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental
- 10 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental.
No smoking in Aruhe. If you do smoke please dispose of butts in a safe and responsible manner.
No parties or events.
May not be suitable for infants under 5 years
If you are bringing a pet I need to know when you book. Please keep your pets off the furniture. The property is unfenced so your dog/s is/are your responsibility. Possums are a temptation for our furry friends and I would hate your dog to get lost in the bush.
Please be careful with your use of water. It is a valuable resource.
