Looking for a romantic escape midweek? Then, it's Martini Time. Available midweek only, stay in the Martini Lounge, a studio apartment at the back of The Pearson and enjoy your escape.

This unique property is a rare gem hidden amongst the beachside cottages at Capel Sound (formally Rosebud West). The studio sits only 200 metres from the bayside beach at Capel Sound Foreshore and a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants.

The studio is nestled into the back of a well established garden block with towering gum trees and native foliage, once you enter the garden entrance you are transformed into your own private world. The sound of birdlife will sooth you for much of the day and watch the stars through the trees at night. The Martini Lounge has it's own private entrance via the side gate at the end of the driveway and the main house will be empty during your visit, so the whole garden space is your to enjoy. Through the side gate, you will find the outdoor courtyard with table and chairs and the purple front door of the Martini Lounge.

On opening the front door, you'll find yourself in the kitchenette and dining area for 2. Although the entrance is purple, blue is the main theme for the Martini Lounge, reminding you of it's 1970's heritage and proximity to the beach. In the kitchenette is a bar fridge, microwave, toaster and tea & coffee making facilities. Please note that there are no other cooking facilities (apart from the BBQ), however, for a quick midweek escape, who wants to cook?!

There is a separate large bedroom with queen size bed, couch and wall mounted TV off the kitchenette. There is a small bathroom with toilet and shower off the kitchenette also. Through the bedroom, another door takes you into a small reading room with couch. A perfect space for two and a furry companion should you wish to bring your pet.

The Martini Lounge has a reverse cycle air conditioner with both heating and cooling.

The courtyard garden at the front of the Martini Lounge has bench dining and is completely secluded for private evenings al fresco and just behind a black bamboo fence is a sunny spot with chairs again completely private for sunning yourself during the day. The BBQ is here too hidden away for aesthetics.

Please Note - this is self catering accommodation the room is not serviced on a daily basis. However, all linen, towels, basic kitchen provisions and toiletries are supplied for your arrival.

Please note that the property welcomes pets with a large garden surrounding the house for pets to roam freely. Pets are welcome inside. Please bring your own bedding and bowls. Do not allow pets on furniture or beds.

Garden: Garden at the front with grass and plantings. Courtyard at rear with gravel. (please check this and clean up after your pets)
Fencing: Fully fenced garden at rear up to 6ft. 4 ft fencing at the front. The front garden is secure when the gate is closed.
