Danish Inspired Holiday House
Hygge (pronounced hue-guh not hoo-gah) is a Danish word used for a feeling of cosiness and charm. How very apt this house name is! Relax in a beautiful space, with expansive deck overlooking both the Bay & Ocean sand dunes.

Take a breath as you drive down the quiet, narrow bush-lined street and imagine a house that literally floats on air. When the Hygge House is revealed, you will see a beautifully designed Danish inspired cantilevered house perched above the tree tops.

On entering this unique house you'll find a bedroom and bathroom with laundry facilities on the downstairs level. Head on upstairs but don't forget to pause at the halfway point to gaze out to the view of the sand dunes on the Blairgowrie back beach. On continuing up the stairs, prepare for the breathtaking view as the space opens out into the Scandinavian inspired lounge and kitchen with large wraparound balcony. Newly renovated, the space has a calm and cosy feel, with exposed beams and a fire place for those cooler days. Snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie or Foxtel on the wall-mounted TV, or just relax on an occasional chair and enjoy the view across the tree tops to the bay beach. The bifold doors in the lounge open up to the large balcony to bring the outdoors in.

The new kitchen is bright and airy with timber benchtops and large stainless cooktop and oven. Should you want to cook on your holiday, everything you need is within easy reach. There is a dining area next to the kitchen with seating for 8. Sit comfortably around the banquette seating and enjoy dinner inside or pop out onto the large wrap around balcony and dine outside, enjoying the view.

Pets are welcome, but please note that there is no outdoor secure fenced area. Once inside, pets have access to the balcony which is secure.

-Bedrooms-
Two of the bedrooms are situated on the top level of the house. The master bedroom has a king size bed and has it's own balcony (shared with the second bedroom) with views overlooking the sand dunes of the back beach. The second upstairs bedroom has a double bunk, with double bed on the bottom and single bed on the top and another queen size bed. This room is quite a large room and has a TV with Foxtel along with some puzzles and toys for the kids. The third bedroom is located on the downstairs level and has a king size bed with views out into the back garden.

-Bathrooms-
The property has two bathrooms, both of which have been newly renovated. The upstairs shared bathroom, is modern and glamorous with a large overhead shower, beautiful feature tiles and pendant lights. The downstairs bathroom has been done in a similar style but also has laundry facilities including washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.

-Car Parking-
There is space for 4 cars to park comfortably in the driveway.

Please Note - this is self catering accommodation the room is not serviced on a daily basis. However, all linen, towels, basic kitchen provisions and toiletries are supplied for your arrival. However, logs are not provided for the fireplace but can be ordered as an add-on when booking.

-Pet Friendly-
Please note that the property welcomes pets. Pets are welcome inside. Please bring your own bedding and bowls. Do not allow pets on furniture or beds.

Garden: the garden is native and has no fencing so is NOT SECURE for pets. There is a pet friendly beach not far from the property.
Fencing: the upper deck is large and the only secure area for pets.
