The Genie House

The Genie House is a fully self-contained, reverse cycle air-conditioned guesthouse with free Wifi & Foxtel within a 5 minute stroll to town centre. Complimentary bottle of bubbles & fresh flowers on arrival. Quiet neighbourhood. Chilled atmosphere.

The Genie House offers 3 bedrooms, all with air-conditioning - 2 queen beds / 2 king singles (which can be transformed into a king sized bed). The queen rooms have french doors opening onto a north-facing deck to catch the summer breezes. All bedrooms are furbished with white linen and towels.

You are welcome to use the wood fireplace in winter (first load of wood is complimentary). The front sun-drenched atrium/dining area with bi-fold windows is a great place to enjoy meals or curl up on the daybed with a good book.

Your hosts live in a house attached to the rear of the guesthouse which is separated by a 1.8 metre high private fence and has separate rear entry. The guesthouse has access to the front yard only. Your hosts are at hand if you have any problems or enquiries, however your privacy is respected at all times.

Please inform your hosts if you intend bringing your dog/s [limit 2 dogs only please]. House trained dogs are most welcome [Quiet dogs only - Please no persistent barkers]. The front yard is grassed, secure and fully fenced [fence height is 1.2 metres]. Your dog is welcome to sleep inside during the day and night. Please lock your dog in the house when you are not at home, especially if your dog tends to bark when left alone. Please bring your own pet bedding. Pet feeding bowls are supplied. Please limit dog hair loss on departure. Please collect dog waste in plastic bag and dispose of in red bin in courtyard.

The Genie House does supply a highchair. Cots or bassinets (including linen) can be hired from Byron Bay Holiday Hire. The hire company will deliver and collect. Please bring beach towels.

Features include polished timber floors with rugs in the main living areas / Gas BBQ /Flatscreen TV with iPod connectivity / DVD / Free Foxtel / Free Wifi / fully self contained kitchen / cool outdoor shower / 2 bodyboards and garden hammock.

The Ballina/Byron Gateway Airport is a 30 minute drive south of Byron Bay and Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast) is a 45 minute drive to the north. Regular shuttle bus services are available door to door to and from both airports. Google Byron Easy Bus or Xcede websites to pre-book.

Please Note: The Genie House does not accommodate Schoolie Groups, Hens or Bucks Parties.

The Genie House is within walking distance to the town centre, the beach and the beautiful Lighthouse walking tracks.
