Adelaide Heritage Cottages - Sussex Cottage

Sussex Cottage (part of the North Adelaide Heritage Group) was built by Silesian German settlers in 1860 and is very close to vibrant and cosmopolitan Melbourne Street in North Adelaide.

Restored using heritage colours and fittings but with modern amenities, this is a true historic home stay with three bedrooms. Relax in the designer courtyard setting landscaped with English box hedges, iceberg roses and slate paving with thyme, or take advantage of the dining room with french doors to the garden and outdoor wrought iron dining facilities, including a weber barbecue. The cottage is furnished with antiques and collectables.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two singles and the third loft bedroom has two king singles which can be joined to create one king bed.

Sussex Cottage has excellent access to Adelaide's trendy cafe society, Adelaide's business district or the beautiful and extensive parklands. The property is on the register of the National Estate and State heritage listed. Complimentary prepaid special car parking permit is included for your length of stay.
